We are organising a trip to HOYS this year for the Thursday. Simon Buckley from Ings is competing in the showjumping and we are organising a group booking. Tickets will be £35 and Lakes are looking at covering the cost of the coach.

Lakes Riding Club holds events from the end of April to the end of September on Westmorland County Showground.

Generally events rotate between club days (with novice jumping, open jumping, equitation and a riding test for horses/riders who do not jump) and combined training where dressage entries are taken in advance and showing classes on the day.

Teams of qualifiers are entered for regional competitions - dressage, eventing and show jumping - and have enjoyed much success over the years.

We are now holding qualifiers for the festival of champions held at Harrogate. This year the Festival of Champions has combined with the Ultimate Showcase of Champions to hold a bigger and better competition.

This year we are holding a fun gymkhana with novelty and fun classes.
