Welcome to Lakes Riding Club
Lakes Riding Club holds events throughout the year at the Westmorland County Showground, Crooklands.
Events are rotated between Club Days (with novice and open jumping, equitation and a riding test) and Combined Training where dressage entries are taken in advance and showing classes on the day. Training days and other events are also organised in between these competitions. Members and non-members welcome.
Teams are entered for regional competitions in dressage, eventing, show jumping and showing and have enjoyed huge success over the years. For more details about Lakes Riding Club including joining, please either contact us or email our Secretary, Karen Wilkinson from the Committee.

Fun SJ Classes added to the schedule
New classes will be held on Sunday 1st August. Open to members and non-members, junior/ senior. Chase me Charlie, Accumulator, pick your own line, relay and many more. Enter on the day - CLASS 19!!

LRC Summer BBQ - Saturday 28 August 2010 to start at 6pm at Kingsland Livery Yard, Crosscrake. Please contact Sara Ireland for tickets and further details.

Club Day Sunday 1 August at Lane Farm. Setting up on Friday 30 July, with free class entry on Sunday for those who help, see Karen Wilkinson on the show field. Again, if anyone can help ring stewarding to taking tea and coffee to the judges. Any help is really appreciated - no experience/ horse knowledge necessary.

Cross Country Training with Kath Pinnington for all levels be held at Craven on Saturday 7 August see training pages to book or contact Rachel Mather for further details, sessions consist of groups of 4, for 1.5 hrs, places still available.
